This is just a great beginning

Learning a language is one of the most rewarding things. Being able to listen to a podcast, watch a movie or talk with a stranger in another language is pure glory.

Nonetheless, some will try to convince you of the following. Some will tell you that you’ll learn a second language just as you learn your first. Some will tell you that learning a language is simple, easy and it doesn’t require any effort on your part. «Fast and easy» are the pillars of a lie. But good news! As you’re already an adult, you have so many tools you can use to learn a second language. Learning is challenging, but it’s specially fun, and rewarding.

How does it work?

I’ll create a customized program for you that will take into consideration your own abilities, mother language, goals and interests.

Learning a language is learning to communicate. That means, we should work together to create possible real scenarios to learn. A language is tied up with a culture, so that’s also something you’ll learn too -cultural bits.

FAQ

We’ll meet online for 20 minutes.  I’ll give you an introductory class and will ask you about yourself, your goals and motivations (this is free of charge, of course). If we are a match, we continue!

I’ll provide all the materials you need. However, if you feel that having a book will help you, I can also recommend some.

It depends on you, and your own goals (well, and on my calendar as well). Ideally, we will work together towards the same goal: we’ll discuss and agree on this together.

You don’t have to. But as learning is also based on repetition, it will be useful. Sometimes «homework» is just a small assignment we will use in class (for example, reading and article, watching a video, etc.).

No matter where you’re in the world, pay via PayPal. If you’re in Europe, you can also pay via bank transfer. If you’re in lovely Colombia, through Bancolombia.

But really, why to make it difficult?

Even if it’s small, I want to make sure I’m fair. I do want to see a better world one day. We aren’t the same, we don’t make the same money nor we have the same priorities. I’m aware of that. I want my students to pay what they can. I’ll put the same effort, love and energy regardless.

But wait. Who are you?
